Built in 1999, the Inn is a 19 room small boutique inn designed to meet the needs of discriminating business traveller, tourists and urban romantics. It is located in Calgary?s trendy Kensington area which is a short walk from the Business Centre of town. It offers the discerning consumer a unique alternative not presently available in Calgary. Its proximity to the Light Rail Transit System makes many of Calgary?s major points of interest - The University of Calgary, McMahon Stadium, The Arts Centre, The Saddledome, The Stampede Grounds and Heritage Park to name a few, easily accessible in a matter of minutes. The Inn has a commanding view of the Bow River and Downtown Calgary. The Kensington Riverside Inn, designed by award winning architect Richard Lindseth, F. is traditional in style. A gracious, club like atmosphere has been created with ten-foot high ceilings, cornices and columns and a wood burning fireplace and bar in the living room. The stylish rooms have been individually decorated with the kind of furnishings that make guests feel at home. No two rooms are alike.
